Handcrafted in my workshop in Shrewsbury, this original cyanotype on silk lampshade features a graceful dance of acer leaves, allium heads, and fine grasses gently circling the form.
Exposed to natural sunlight, the silk develops into dark blue tones. The plants are revealed in high-definition, from the intricate, sculptural shapes of alliums to the detail of delicate grasses.
This one-of-a-kind botanical lampshade is meticulously crafted and makes a striking centrepiece in any interior.
The distinctive handmade metal base is forged in Ayrshire, Scotland. Its sculptural form and aged metallic finish complement the organic design perfectly, adding timeless character to this artisan lighting piece.
