This shade is a one-of-a-kind botanical artwork, handmade in my Shrewsbury studio. An original wet Cyanotype on silk with a graceful composition of acer leaves, allium heads, and fine grasses circling the form of the shade.
Exposed to natural sunlight, the silk develops into Prussian blue, a rich backdrop for the delicate leaf margins.
It’s an original statement piece, meticulously crafted to bring nature into contemporary and traditional homes.
The distinctive handmade Tangle base is hand-forged in Ayrshire, Scotland. Its sculptural form and aged metallic finish complement the organic design perfectly, adding timeless character to this artisan lighting piece.
